Here’s what’s new in Rock’s GitHub for Pre-Alpha Release 18.0.5, released on 4/29/2025.

17.0 Highlights

v17.0 was released as the latest secured version for early access on April 21, 2025. See the Release Notes for complete details.

17.1 Highlights

  1. Added a new feature to IP Geolocation to allow site visitors from selected countries to be blocked, in order to reduce unwanted traffic from high-risk regions.
  2. Added a new feature to the Bulk Update block to add or remove Steps for individuals in a selected Step Program and Step Type.
  3. Added a new Defined Type called "Record Source" to track where an individual's profile was created, such as through Event Registration, Check-in, Workflow Entry Forms, or Family Registration.
  4. Added new features to Form Builder to create a shareable link and preview the form in a pop-up window from the link.
  5. Added a new system communication category called 'Form Builder', which can be used to send automated responses after a Form Builder form has been submitted.
  6. Issue 6260 Fixed an issue with Next Gen Check-in where printing label images to Bluetooth printers caused delays.
  7. Issue 6267 Fixed an issue with the Insights block where the 'Percent of Active Individuals With Assessments' graph incorrectly included incomplete and duplicate assessments.
  8. Issue 6268 Fixed an issue with the Insights block where the 'Percent of Active Records' graph did not include custom Record Status defined types. The graph has also been renamed as 'Record Statuses'.
  9. Issue 6270 Fixed an issue with Next Gen Check-in where 18-year-old high school seniors were incorrectly hidden from check-in when adults were configured to be hidden. This update ensures that individuals with a past graduation year or no graduation year will correctly appear for check-in.
  10. Issue 6276 Fixed an issue with the Benevolence Request List and Benevolence Request Detail blocks where unauthorized individuals could view requests for types they did not have access to.

Mobile

  1. Issue 6282 Fixed an issue where REST users were wrongly required to meet group rules when they were added to the 'RSR - Mobile Application Users' security role.
